I'm Julia Hyliger
Seeking help isn’t always easy so thank you for showing courage as you embark on this journey.
I am a fully trained and qualified counsellor practising since 2011. As a registered member of the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC) and of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work according to their ethical frameworks.
I believe that everyone has an inherent capacity to draw on their own strength to find unique resolutions to the difficulties they face.
So when life is a struggle or when you are overwhelmed by self-limiting beliefs or destructive patterns, with the right help, you can develop and come to rely on your own strategies to help you cope and even flourish.
It will be a privilege to journey alongside you as we talk together and I listen carefully and intentionally so I can develop an understanding of you, your thoughts and feelings.
I am committed to building a meaningful therapeutic relationship with you. In this relationship where you are accepted and respected, you will be encouraged to explore exactly what you are thinking and feeling about yourself and your situation.
Do you ever find yourself feeling frustrated, anxious or angry? Do you sometimes feel invisible, like an outsider or as if you don’t belong? Does life often feel like an uphill struggle, with little time to catch your breath?
YOU'RE NOT ALONE.
From time to time, life can spin out of control leaving us feeling disappointed, unhappy and helpless.
Your journey to wholeness can begin today.
