My Story
The journey of life is a path with twists and turns, ups and downs. Life can be easier to understand as we look backward, but our journey now is one where we must move forward.
My 62 years of journey began within a harsh Victorian styled culture of the invisibility of a child, where I was to be seen but not heard.
As an ill-equipped teenager, I had to navigate, without a compass, the terrains of separation anxiety, loneliness, loss of connection, abuse, neglect and a religious cult with its offer of safety and security.
However, as an adult I grew and—following several light bulb moments of self awareness—came to realise that I had the freedom to choose and become my own agent of change. I realised that I could empower others who are seeking to be their own agent of change.
Our upbringing, culture and significant life events can affect the way we view ourselves and how we connect in our relationships and respond to our world.
I have a heightened awareness of how life can rewrite our scripts and how the challenges of external norms and expectations can hinder the growth and development of our true authentic self.
My training has sharpened my ability to view life from various perspectives. This has enhanced my capacity to work collaboratively in choosing the most suited treatment for you.
Whatever your reason for being here, I am glad that you are here!
You will find an accepting safe space.
